Coaches
Mr. Terence Chu
I am the PowerStackers FIRST Tech Challenge Coach. I have enjoyed being the coach for the PowerStackers for 12 years now. I started the PowerStackers team with my son, Justin. I have also volunteered for FIRST many times. I am a Radiation Physicist and I work to find better means and methods to cure cancer patients. I am from Hong Kong, and my son, Justin, is attending college at the University of Toronto. I really enjoy seeing my students grow and succeed from the FIRST program so I am always excited to start a new season with them.

Mr. Jon Thomas
I am a third year computer engineering student at Wright State University, and a Powerstackers alum. I've been with the team for five years. I had a wonderful experience with FIRST as a student, and decided to stay involved with the program into my college years. I help students with programming and software, a role I held as a student in the team.

Mr. Derek HelmI am 19 years old. I went to Miami Valley Career Technology Center but I’m from Northmont. I am currently attending Sinclair College. For fun, I record and edit YouTube videos for Clan of Eoron. This is my third year in FIRST. I was a member of two different FIRST Tech Challenge teams (T-bots and PowerStackers) and not I'm a PowerStackers mentor. I am mentoring programming and I have done lots of 3D modeling in SketchUp. I have always found robotics to be an interesting adventure waiting to be taken.

Mr. Pedro Campos
I am 18 years old. I was a PowerStacker for 6 years. I also participated on a few other FIRST LEGO League teams and Innovators FIRST Robotics Challenge team 3138. My favorite part of FIRST was seeing the interesting new challenges each year and brainstorming for them. I recently got hired by PSA at the Dayton International Airport. I am eager to get lots of experience in my career field as an A&P Mechanic. On the side, I am working toward getting my Privates Pilot License.

Mr. Joshua SchuhHi, my name is Josh. I was on Powerstackers from 2013-2015. I graduated from Sinclair Community College with an associate’s degree in Automation and Control Technology with Robotics back in May 2017. Now this is my first full year being a mentor after taking two seasons off being on the team. But I have been volunteering at tournaments after being on the team. I love the way mentoring gives me good experience with possibly starting my own team one day.
