Meet the PowerStackers Students
|
Krishna SureshI am 14 years old at Sycamore High School in 9th grade. This is my 6th year in FIRST 3 years in FLL and 2 in FTC. FTC has been one of my biggest passions due to the ability for me to be challenged throughout the season. I am also able to apply much of the math and science I have learned to real life. I am currently the team lead and have much fun challenging myself to organize and allocate resources. This year I have taken the challenge of learning to use CAD more in depth and love the new aspect of robotics. I have been a programer for robotics for most of my years in FIRST and the new problems I face help me develop my skills.

Brandon YoungI am 15 years old this is my 5th year in FIRST programs. This is my third year in First Tech Challenge. I am on jump rope team, and enjoy puzzles and mind games. FTC has been an amazing opportunity to learn more about programming and robots. I have had experience of using machines this year to custom make our robot, I learned a lot about designing and manufacturing. I hope to continue to improve my programming abilities to get to more advance techniques in the future years.

I am 15 years old and I am a sophomore at William Mason High School. This is my 3rd year in FTC. I am the CAD lead on and Project Manager on the team. I am currently a second degree black belt in Karate. My other interests include science, outreach, and food. FIRST has really changed my life and impacted me in a positive way. It has allowed me to implement my interest for robotics and computer science in the real world. I have learned so much over these 3 years and I plan to continue my love for robotics and FIRST as I grow older.

I’m sixteen and a junior at William Mason High School. This is my first year with Power Stackers, and I’m fairly new to FIRST in general, but I've been learning all kinds of things from this program. On the team, I’m PowerStackers’ outreach lead, as well as a designer, photographer, and game announcer. Off the team, I’m a writer, violinist, and wannabe-animator. FTC’s given all of us a lot of great opportunities, and it's a surprisingly enthusiastic community that’s really fun to be a part of.
